my reason is: its an underdog car. Everyone (ppl in the mid-40s) drives a Lexus LS, 5 series, or the E Class, and no one likes the RL. I think it stands out and look youthful and sporty. Certainly not youthful and sporty (and affordable) for a 23 year old like me, but when I am rich and 40 yrs old (which ever comes last) that will be what I want.

bought them during the Memorial Weekend, but I think the items that are on sale are the stuff that didn't sell well this season (alot of odd-size plain-looking polo shirts were on sale too). The same stripe shirt in blue/dark grey is still 49.95. So I guess they just want to clean up their inventory and the sale wasn't really Memorial Day related.
