I am a cheeseburger connoisseur, not an addict

Lifer
I have had cheeseburgers for lunch for the past 5-6 business days in a row, and once this past weekend.
And today having another doesn't put me off a bit. And my digestion has been remarkably predictable.
No weight gained, I monitor the scale closely since I am at the gym a few times a week.

where do you get your cheeseburgers and what type?

In N Out, Johhny Rockets, Ruby's (not to be confused with Ruby Tuesday), Fatburger, and a local place called Polly's Pies.

ahh... have you tried Islands? they are my second favorite in California (to In N Out).

You are a connoisseur only if a variety of people hand make and prepare them for you. If you buy them at a chain, you are merely a consumer.

NOVA is seriously lacking good burger joints, all we got is Five Guys. I'll probably get that tomorrow. Hmmmmmmm

Five Guys is still pretty damn good, you gotta admit... we have it here in Philly too. I had one a few days after In N Out in Cali from Spring Break and I have to say it was pretty close.

Hey, hey, hey...slow down. I am still in denial.

great blog

Good blog indeed. I love in-depth food reviews, in this case burgers! I like how iPhone fanatics got all defensive after reading his Delicatessen blog where he dissed the pretentious patrons who were more concerned about their looks than the food.

Denial? Not at all. Meat was meant to be eaten...otherwise, it wouldn't taste so dammed good!

Just remember to drink a diet soda with them so it cancels out any fat & calories from the burger. 😉

We just had our first Sonic open near me, and I'm on a mission to try everything on their menu. So far, the Double Cheese = YUM. Their fries---so so.

Yes, I've gained a few pounds, but I'm married. What do I care 🙂

Wow...the Sonic's around here absolutely suck...one in a neighboring town folded within 2 years even though it had a premium location...right in front of Costco.

At Sonic, go for the tots.

Out of economic neccesity I've been buying a lot of Double Cheeseburgers at Burger King lately. They are 2 Double Cheeseburgers for $2.00. Sometimes I get tired of them, throw away a bun, and then make a quad-stack cheeseburger.

I've heard that they are low in fat and calories.

Well, since they're broiled on a grill, more fat drips off than a "grilled" burger, but the double cheese makes up for it. You heard wrong.

Thank you for kindly educating me. I was being sarcastic realizing fast food, meat and simulated cheese is probably semi-toxic.
