I almost smashed the windows of a parked car today.

I almost did smash the windows. I couldn't risk loosing my job over such crap though. If I didn't need my job though, I really think I would have smashed the windows out on this car out of respect to my dad (WW2 veteran who has since passed on)

Under some a--holes McCain sticker, I saw this sticker:
3 days of US tragedy:
12/7/1941
9/11/2001
11/4/2008

Now, is this totally wrong or is it just me? I don't care who won the god damned election. I'd be ashamed of having this sticker on my car.

The guy with the bumper sticker? I agree.

You don't consider advertising the fact that you think a democrat in office is as tragic as 9/11 or Pearl harbor day is a bit much?

Actually, if I did see the guy get in the car, I would have asked him if he was in the KKK.

What is a "parker car?" Not familiar with that brand. 😉

Those stickers are just as stoopid as most political stickers, and I always hope that the glue takes the paint off when the person remove the sticker.

did you guys see that movie "taken"? it was pretty damn good. i think it was better than the dark knight

Dark Knight is overrated. Full of plot holes.

I'm looking forward to seeing Taken though.

No but I kind of want to. I'm not a big fan of thrillers but Liam fucking rocks.

sure you would have toughguy.

I'd just walk on by. The car's owner is already sounding like a hurt bitch and the worst you could do to him/her would be to let 'em cry like a bitch.

the best thing you could do for him/her would make them feel right in some way by thinking an Obama supporter vindicated him/her by braking the window.

Wow, I don't think I've ever been offended enough over anything, much less a bumper sticker, to consider breaking someone's property. If your Dad fought in WW2, he did his part to protect the car owner's right to have the sticker. Seriously? Smashing windows over a sticker?!?!

What you fail to realize is those really are days of tragedy. The later not so much, but still tragic and call for reflection and weeping.

agree

I kindly request that you expand your thoughts since I did not take any actual action and that my initial reaction was anger that someone could be so arrogant as to flaunt his idea that Obama is on par with the many people that died in WW2. Hiroshima and Nagasaki can be included in your discussion. Also do some research on how many people died during WW2.

I would have. It's the only way I can imagine someone being that angry over Obama (a black man) being elected president.

Go ahead and smash his windows. Call it a political statement.

I am considering the purchase of a bumper sticker that says "yes, I am an ass hole" to put it below the dumb sticker.

Ahh yes.

Freedom of speech unless you agree with me.

Nazi much?

Oh god, shut up. My dad (a republican by the way) would be first in line to kick his ass. The sticker shows total disregard for everyone that died in this country. NO ONE DIED OVER OBAMA.

I might write a note to toss on the guys windshield but what does that prove.

How is 11/4/2008 tragic in any way? During good times, we had leadership that spent like drunken sailors and now that we need to create some US debt, we are already in a F'ing hole? During recessions is when debts should be run, not during good times (2002-2008 pretty much)
