I think that makes her a snow virgin ;)
What do you think every body -- let's plan a trip for her up to the mountains! (1st, she has to remind us where in California she lives -- since I forgot)

i could email her some snow, i can't go like an hour without seeing it as its right outside the windows....
or snow pictures but yeah, she's definitly a snow virgin... snow virgin, that sounds kinda neat.. kinda clean and innocent, yet dirty at the same time... well not dirty, just kinda sly. .. is she a snake virgin too? (when was the last time she held a snake? like my icon snake, i.e. a ball python)

Hey I havent seen snow in about 11 or 12 years. I know that because last time I went to the snow was driving my HR Holden & that means it must have been about 1988.

I didn't see snow until I was about 14. Then I was defiled:) when I went skiing in the mountains. The last time I saw snow was when I was in Boston last year.

I grew up in Vermont and saw enough snow to last a life time. I moved to L.A. nearly 20 years and never looked back. I haven't really seen snow since.

Well lets see, the first 8 years of my life was in brazil and cuba. I then moved to Florida and haven't been out of this cursed place in 11 years. So that makes 19 years of not having seen snow :(

Lily, pobrecita!

You are in good company, hermana.

Half my family came from Northern Spain (where it definitely snows) to roll cigars in Ybor City and the other half came here from Cuba (blood got a little mixed along the way, you know? :D ). My Abuelita was born in Cayo Hueso... Key West, a real conch.

I grew up in Tampa and endured being called a 'dirty Cuban' by the great unwashed. It was hard, but I survived.

Been here now for a few generations... (since the turn of the century... 1900 or so) My dad was a paramedic in the Korean War, though. He says snow sucks!

The guy in the appartment facing mine is over 60 years old and has never seen snow, even though he's lived in Canada all his life.

He's never seen anything. :(

All right it's time for you So. Cal. People to get together and have a road trip !!! Where to? well up to the mountains to see some virgin snow of course. ;) Who's going to be the leader and who's going to plan it? Wait -- these things aren't planned are they :0

I don't know about you people from Florida :) Guess you'll have to rent a snow making machine and a walk-in freezer and make your own.

Didn't you feel that slight tug on your leg?

I cannot contemplate life without snow, and am surrounded by many others like me where I ski. Two of them are paraplegic, and ski on ingenious contraptions consisting of a small fibreglass bucket seat mounted on a single traditionally-shaped ski, complete with an oil-filled shock adsorbing system. Both of them race as well. We also have blind skiers visit regularly.

I point this out to demonstrate that I am not crazy, or at least not the only crazy one. There are many of us who will do almost anything to get to the mountains and the snow. We MAKE snow. We formulate additives to raise the melting temperature of this artificial snow.

I realize it ain't for everyone, but if you get the chance, go skiing.

Regards,
Craig
