Hyundai..tuscani? (aka tiburon)

It appears that someone brought it over from korea. It has this big, nice T logo on the front and back (instead of the cheapy plastic H logo). There's more chrome accents here and there, and it doesn't look cheap at all. It seems like the US version is like a cheapafied version of the actualy coupe car. inside was leather, and looked pretty nice.

I saw this in front of Chart House in santa monica. sorry didn't have digicam w/ me 🙁
here's some info on it i guess:
http://www.tuscani.be/

that's the best thing next to pics i could find.

and chk this out:
http://www.hyundai-motor.com/index.html
chk out their cars by hovering your mouse on the korean text on the bottom left of that middle flash thing w/ korea's version of the sonata in it. (the one w/ the text: ???? (only seeable if you have korean encoding))

how come they won't send those cars over here? those cars look pretty nice compared to the crap they have here now 🙁

i mean, just send it over w/ different name.

oh and one more thing, how many PS = HP? PS seems to be the unit of power for engines there in asia or something. or is it the same thing?

i predict this will turn into hyundai bashing thread 😱 there was a kid with tiburon at my high school and everyone praised the exterior aesthetics of the car

the US version of the sonata look like crap. the korean version looks far better. it even has that gps option. man.

ps is the symbol for pferdestärke, which is German for horsepower. The symbol ps is used in both the German and Japanese markets.

pferdestarke is the same as metric horsepower, or I should say ps is the symbol for metric horsepower.

1 pferdestarke = 0.9863201 horsepower [international]
164 pferdestarke = 161.7564919 horsepower [international]

I often wondered if people were blind... or was it the attractiveness of the 10year warranty... cause every single Hyundai in production here save for the Tiburon (specific years) was unbearably ugly. I often wondered if it was a requisite to make cheaper cars look ugly on purpose.

i thought that body style is the same as the 03+ tiburons in the US market?

i live in korea and i see these EVERY FRIKKIN DAY. anyone want some pics?
