Yeah, a REAL Toyota Corrola (latest model) is almost considered a luxury car in India. I went there in January and all the diplomats and ex-pats or anyone with money either drove a Corolla, diesel E-class, underpowered C-class, new Honda Accord (they get the North American one, not the smaller one) or some European car which I can't remember the marque but it shares the same platform as VW Passat.Originally posted by: maziwanka
its true! a corolla is very expensive in india (compared to other automobiles offered in india)

Surprisingly, the V6 Sonata is actually a smooth ride. I was pleasantly surprised after driving one.

I'm rather surprised at the King of Value dissing Hyundai
If it wasn't for Car Co's like Hyundai, Nissan etc, there wouldn't be a car less than $50,000 thanks to the likes of GM, Ford and Chysler. That's the real Thumbs Down

We have camry's and accords (2004) as well but they are really really expensive,
a 2004 camry costs almost 40,000 dollars, which is ridiculous
