Me too, so im gonna wait till it starts to get hot/summer. The only reason I want to get a lcd is because my 21in monitor heats up my room like crazy during the summer!

haha. in the winter time, my monitor and pc are the only things that keep my room somewhat warm 🙂

8+ dead pixel policy has me reluctant to order this, after all this is an expensive monitor and the right sort of defect could drive me crazy.

At Newegg, it shows 430 on the main page of Hyundai LCDs, but click on the L90D+ link here and it shows up as 410. Add it to your cart and it's still 410, which is the same price before they went OOS a week to 10 days ago.

alright, so i decided to bite the bullet and buy it with tax at chiefvalue.

I had some problems with my CC because my shipping address wasn't listed as an alternate addy with my CC company. But they were very helpful and had my problem solved within the hour. Good service!

I maybe getting blind but everywhere I look, I can't seem to find the pixel refresh rate?
Is it 25ms? 12ms? One newegg reviewer said it's 8ms, but how reliable are they anyway..
help an old man here... I'm dumping my 20" CRT this week

refresh rate is different from "response time". what you are asking for is response time, and it is 8ms. You can check any of the four or so threads on Hot Deals reguarding this monitor, or even the review of it at tomshardware.com. And FYI, newegg is quite reliable.

Cool!
I saw the other posts about this LCD after I posted my lame question... I guess everyone's raving about this LCD now
I'm just tad bit nervous buying a Hyundai... but poor man doesn't have too many choice, so I'm dipping in!

I gave up!
Ordered one from EBUYER.COM just now $379.99 (shipped)
Never heard of this store but Resellerrating gave it 7 points

Fingers crossed...

It had 23 unit in the stock when I ordered.
I'm worried though, looks like their inventory counter is not accurate.

Edit:

AT EFFECT IS ON!

I checked back with EBUYER and now it's OOS
Almost all places reported OOS or jacked up the price a lot higher

I hope my order went through :?

OMG! damn u ebuyer. i was lookin at ebuyer before i bought from chiefvalue. and at the time they were OOS. woulda been a bit cheaper for me to get it from ebuyer , but my chiefvalue one already shipped, o well 🙁

mine just came in today. looks totally fan-f'in tastic. no dead pixels, and this will be my first lcd 🙂 The only "problem" is that it has a slight light leakage on the top, and right side... but it's hardly noticable unless it's a black screen.

anyone have color problems when trying to watch videos? most of the colors have a red hue to them.

Nope. Picture is as good or better than my 32" Toshiba.
