Man, you know how easy it would be for a powerful Anne Rice'ish vampire to destroy Blade? At a thought, Blade would burst into flames. The 1000 year old Vamps in Rice's books are insanely powerful, and would read Blade's mind before he even got close enough to bring a weapon to bare. Not mention, the 4000 year old Vampires would be able to read his mind from the other side of the globe AND make him burst into flames.

sounds like you also have a thing for Anne Rice.

I liked all of her vampire novels, but the last 4 or so books have sucked
as far as quality
and have just been downright strange. I don't know wtf happened.
