Last time I time traveled anywhere, the trip ended up crashing into a blue rock filled with two legged idiots.

No more time travel for me.

It tries and succeeds in showing time travel in as realistic a way as possible.

Eh, I've seen that movie twice and while I want to really get into it, after they realize what the time machine can do, the movie gets extremely confusing and I find it almost impossible to follow what is going on.

That's funny, because this thread got me thinking about how Primer was the worst, most boring time travel movie I've ever watched.

Yea a lot of my friends think exactly the same. Don't you however agree though that it does manage to keep to the fine line of making the time travelling seem realistic and somewhat plausable.

Is there something different about gravity in the future, as well?

I'd do it because I hate driving on our current roads, and frankly, where I'm going, we don't need roads.

Lol, I was waiting for that line. Anyway I'd like to be able to skip the worst of the world. We all know theres a storm coming in.

I must have been left out of the "storm" club. I'm not up on my apocalypto theories.

I am so dissapointed with you right now.

It can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and it absolutely will not stop. Ever. Until you are dead.
Nobody goes home. Nobody else comes through. It's just him and me.

If I use my time machine to go into the future, won't I eventually hit a time when they have a better time machine that I could then use to travel back into the past?

Yes, but you probably wouldnt be allowed to use one [screwing up time]
I love this argument against time travel, because it's silly.

Stand up in the centre of the room, and say loadly to everyone who is listening "I, [insert name here] will travel back in time or send my self a message to now if timetravel is invented within my life time".

Then wait to see if you turn up :p

I think I would probably do it, if I could bring some people along. Seeing what happens in the future would definitely be cool.
