If my arms are stuck in a bannister and someone comes at me with KY, they better hope I never get free.

This, with a sig of "I beat my S&M addiction!"

Hee hee hee. The KY won't be for your arms.

rather for the helpers arms. right?

Well since you probably won't be able to reach the kitchen or the medicine cabinet I'd say spit is the best and only lube (well maybe not only...) in this situation. As others have said "if it went in it can come out".

A circular saw will do the trick.

as stated in the OP, no damage can be done to the arm or bannister. Or did you mean to use it as a wedge or for leverage somehow?

No, you come at whomever is stuck in the banister with the circular saw and they'll free themselves momentarily.
