Hypothetical question

If you had a choice between two girls who were both interested in long term relationships with you and you were just started out in life (mid-twenties), would you pick:

GIRL A
-- HOT -- a "9" on the looks scale
-- Less affectionate but still a warm person
-- Less chemistry but still lots to talk about

GIRL B
-- Average -- a "7" on the looks scale
-- Very warm and affectionate
-- Lots of chemistry

And yes, I do have this choice right now. And no, it's not a choice that exists only in my head. I'm seeing both girls and they've basically said to me, "look, you have to decide." I agree with them.

And no, this isn't a parody. This is a real life choice I'm trying to make.

A lot of you who are married will probably say, "Go with the one who you have more chemistry... that's all that counts in the end."

And that argument makes a lot of sense to me. But of course there's no guarantee that I'll be with her "forever."

And the other girl is VERY HOT. =) And it's not like she's not sweet and loving... we just haven't developed the same chemistry yet.

Ultimately, I realize this is my decision. I'm just looking for some talk on the subject to get my brain out of the rut that it's in right now.

I'd go with B. Lots of chemistry is a great thing.

Look at it this way: If your future wife were horribly disabled, and you had to provide very exhausting care for her, which one could you see yourself doing that for? Which one would provide that care for you?

Go with B. Dont kid yourself here; if there's no chemistry with the "9", theres no chemistry with her and you just cant make that. Besides, option B would be better for the long run.

CLARIFICATION to those who are posting:

It's not that there's "no" chemistry with the "9", it's simply that there's measurably LESS. We still get along quite well.

If there wasnt a significant difference in compatiblity, then this thread wouldnt exist.

I'm not married and I'll still agree with this statement.

This is a repost from about a month ago (I'm not playing the repost police, but letting you know if you search you can find more answers). My answer is still the same. Having been with a 9 that wasn't affectionate enough, and now with a 7 who is very warm and affectionate, I can answer this without a doubt. I'd take the 7 any day.

Take the 7 and you'll always wonder in the back of your mind if the 9 was a better option. Take the 9 and you'll know for a fact that the 7 was a better option.

And by the way, to me, 7 isn't average. 4-6 is average. 7 is just above average.

it's an obvious answer: both.

bang A a few times, and dump her and go running for B saying you made the wrong choice. with all that chemistry B is more than likely to accept you.
