Asking her ruins the whole idea of surprising someone.

I am not female, but I'd rather be asked what I like rather than be given something I don't want as a surprise.

"oh what's that? ....Gee, thanks, this is really unique."

Ugh... I might have to ask her, because that is my only fear.

If this thing between you two is still pretty new, I wouldn't worry too much about bringing the wrong thing. Does she have any allergies? Because you don't want to bring over something with peanuts and have it kill her.

Find something other than the Jones sodas. I guarantee that if you go to a grocery store or a Target you'll find an isle with so damned many different soft drinks you won't know what to do with yourself. Just pick somethings that look & sound good. Admit that you have no idea what they will be like, and if they suck, oh well.

Don't obsess over this, it will drive you crazy.

Pretty sure she is not allergic to peanuts.

I guess you are right. I'll stop at Safeway or something. :p Hopefully they have something good.

Thats the spirit, be sure to check in and let us know how it goes...

Oh, and bring that protection, just in case. If you don't need it, then nothing to worry about. If you do end up needing it, and don't have it, then you'll really feel dumb. You are going by the store anyway, right?

I wouldn't say it's necessary but it would be a nice gesture. Therefore I didn't vote.

I'd say you'll earn a few minor points if you bring something. She probably won't be mentally noting the fact that you didn't bring anything if you don't, but she'll probably give a few marks in your favor if you do. It's not going to make a huge difference anyway. Short of dildos and anal lube you've got a lot of leeway on exactly what you bring though. Any easy to eat unmessy snack would be appropriate. Just remember that in the end your time will be much better spent trying to will your hair to grow back than obsessing over movie fare.

She is obviously interested if she took you to the movies and paid, but don't end up looking like a mooch. No matter how much she likes you, that won't end well.

as far as I know, hes like 18ish, wine is not a plan, if she is the same age the best bet is seriously Smirnoff ice or screw drivers, maybe some animal crackers too

but for god's sake make a move, do not act oblivious, I did that once and it failed, you have to make a move!!!

drinks wise they have this Sparkling Italian Lemonade that's delicious, I see it at most grocery stores in So Cal, Vons definitely has it if you have a vons up there. It's not too sweet, not too carbonated and not too sour. for food, I would recommend getting some chocolate chips, melting them in a double broiler and dipping Strawberries. In case she doesn't like Strawberries you could go with some Gummie Bears. The majority of females love Chocolate covered Strawberries a lot so that's a safe bet. And I can't explain why, but Strawberries seem to "do things" to females that make them more friendly and frisky.

Let's say a girl invites you to hang out and maybe watch a movie at her place. After having taken you out to a movie at the theater, payed too btw... This is not on the same day, but actually maybe a bit over a week later.

Do you bring popcorn/something or no?

This is hypothetical, of course.

What would you bring if you did bring something?

Bring butter. Lots and lots of butter.

if he brings butter he should bring protection.

Id bring a tub of popcorn with a hole cut in the bottom. That way she would get a surprise when reaching for some popcorn.

We didn't watch a movie because we couldn't agree on anything, but we had a lot of fun with her, her roomates and friends.

I brought her fav drink(mountain dew...), kettle korn(I swear I can't catch popcorn in my mouth worth a damn), and milkduds... Who the hell doesn't love milk duds? We didn't eat any though. Kinda heavy on the pallet.

It went over well and I stayed the night. Slept on the couch bed with her. That thing is way too small for two people... Also very uncomfortable. :p

Recovering from staying up past 2AM and waking up around 6AM and doing on-off sleep from there.

I has a cellphone with a camera, that count? I even took a pic of her, but it's super dark because the camera sucks.

Bring your balls... you might need them, hypothetically speaking.

Popcorn? Sure, if she doesn't have any. Just don't walk in the door with a bunch of goodies, you'll look like a huge douche. Her place, let her take care of you.
