Let's say a girl invites you to hang out and maybe watch a movie at her place. After having taken you out to a movie at the theater, payed too btw... This is not on the same day, but actually maybe a bit over a week later.

Do you bring popcorn/something or no?

This is hypothetical, of course.

What would you bring if you did bring something?

Yes, absolutely bring stuff. Are you both of age to drink? If so, a bottle of wine and some nice snacks would be good. If not, I would still think about bringing over some fun, a-typical drinks and some snacks. Don't just show up with your dick in your hand, or with a bag of microwave popcorn.

She is obviously interested if she took you to the movies and paid, but don't end up looking like a mooch. No matter how much she likes you, that won't end well.

First of all, I answered your first question of whether or not you should bring something.

Second... Jesus, use your head. Go to the store and look around! There are a lot of great sodas out there, different flavors, etc. Target typically stocks such drinks, and they have really tasty, non-standard snacks and candies. If I were under 21 and showing up to watch a movie with a chick, I would drop by a store and get some kind of flavored, non-standard soda (Jones soda?), some type of salty snack (kettle chips?) and some kind of chocolate candy. Plus, I would bring protection, but that is up to you.

I'm not a fan of jones sodas at all. They don't taste very good. Sad, I wish I knew what this girl liked... Never heard of kettle chips... Chocolate, definitely... About every girl out there loves chocolate.

Asking her ruins the whole idea of surprising someone.

I've never had a GF, but I have a potential one, I went on my first date recently. A bit nervous at first but really the easiest thing is, just be yourself. If it was a friend inviting you over, how would you treat it? Treat it the same way.

Personally I'd just ask if she wants you to bring anything to snack on and go from there.

Well... I know, but I would be really surprised and happy if a friend came over and brought snacks for the movie without me having to ask.

Just bring snacks that most people can agree on like kettle corn popcorn, junior mints and diet coke.
