Lets say you are the type that ALWAYS assumes the worst of those around you,

does this make you a smart street savy person? or does it just make you a bad untrustworthy person?

It does not follow that you would be untrustworthy. You believe it in others, but that does not force you to become dishonest.

Trust with other people has to be earned, I don't think it is wrong to assume the worst about people, especially if you don't know them very well, you don't get hurt as bad when they let you down
