I'm going the bb website now too see if its a manufacture rebate to get 200$ more milege out of this .> i paid 240+ 20$ tax out the too for a gig of pc4000 ram just 10 min ago..
Fry's price sticker sais expires 11/14/04 though not sure why.

Damn you for posting that review.. now i'm debating whether or not to take this memory back to frys.

Here's the count guys.

I need to return 1 of the rams below.

1) Buffalo BH-5 PC3700, Cost = 200$ Runs @ 400 2-2-2-5

2) Kingston hyperx, Cost= 240$ Runs at 500 3-8-4-4

Both of these ram let me run my p4 2.6c @ 3.25 stock volatage.

Price difference is only 40$ .. Which ram should i keep/return?

Keep the Buffalo and put the $40 back in your pocket. Whether you get there by timings or speed, performance is performance. That Buffalo BH-5 PC3700 should run well beyond 200 MHz. WELL beyond with some extra voltage (it's guaranteed to take 3.2V if necessary).

i bought the pc4000 kingston about 2 weeks ago at BB for 140 pricematched from fries.

do they do a competetive retro pricematch even though they came down from 199 to 140?

thanks
