I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I searched for it, and didn't find anything...
That being said, I'm going to get a Shuttle SFF system in the near future (sometime this year), so I am trying to decide between the SS51G (based on a SIS 651 chipset) and the SB51G (based on the i845GE chipset). The only reason I can think of getting the SB51G, which will probably cost more, is that it supports hyperthreading (and it'll be slightly more stable...well, I also like the front faceplate better, but that's beside the point...).
Since I'm a poor college student, I'll probably get the 2.4B, which is much more cost effective than the other P4s. So, my question is: After Intel releases the 3.06Ghz P4 with HT, will they release a new version (or stepping or whatever) of the old CPUs also have HT?
Thanks,
