I am running a P4 2.60C Northwood core at 800mhz and it's supposed to be able to do HyperThreading.

I am running an Abit-IS7 motherboard which runs the i865PE chipset which is also supposed to be compatible with HyperThreaded processor.

Finally, I'm running WinXP Pro SP 2

However, when I go into the performance tab, only one processor shows up. When I initialize Adobe Premiere, it only detects one processor.

In the Mobo bios, I have turned on hyper threading.

Any tips as to why i'm still uniprocessor?

Thanks for reading.

http://intel.com/products/processor/pentium4/index.htm

processors in the 478 go from 2.4 to 3.4 on the 865 to the 875 for hyper threading.

Do you happen to have to stepping of your chip? Also in windows device manager, under computer, do you see something like ACPI Multiprocessor?
