Hyper-Threading's hidden security threat

Very interesting! I don't think it necessarily warrants disabling Hyper-threading on all Intel processors, though.
 
One of the other articles I read about this (which I would link if I could find it right now) mentioned that this vunerability only applied to server systems and desktop machines generally wouldn't be affected.

I read the same. The performance hit disabling HT would really suck...
