The national and local media won't shut the hell up about it. The vast majority of the people in northeast Ohio are already over it. Unless of course you think some random angry barber shop owner represents the average Ohioan. Actually I bet that's what the rest of the country thinks of us, so I guess I answered my own question.

I can see that. ESPN probably trying to increase viewership stats.

What do you mean probably? ESPN paid to air "The Decision". They had beat reporters in Miami the entirety of training camp. The game tonight is broadcast on ESPN. Talk about a vested interest. edit: My bad, it's on TNT.

Don't get me wrong. We're going to watch the game and boo mercilessly. But Cleveland is a football town first and foremost. The idiots burning jersey's and lying awake at night are a loud minority -- and this is coming from somebody that actually loves basketball.

As much as I hate basketball, I hope cleveland wins just for the lulz because i'm tired of hearing about lebron james.

living in Ohio and thus being surrounded by cry baby fans I hope Miami destroys Cleveland

Cleveland is a shitty city and no sports athlete owes them anything, sports entertainment is a privilege, not a right.

no, it's on TNT...

It's a pretty big deal in the sports world and in the tabloids so I can see why it's covered so much.

I think the funniest thing would be if nobody showed up! LeBron comes back and the stadium is just empty....would be EPIC.

That being said Lebron would love it b/c he's the type of guy that would rather just be ignored rather than hated. Guys like Kobe, MJ, Garnett, don't care if they are loved or hated as long as there are strong feelings. Lebron would be perfectly fine if the place was empty b/c he could get off scott free and avoid the booing.

I remember seeing a sign up before he was drafted stating

"Lebron's Mom gave me a Hummer"

/in reference to him driving one while in high school

Wow, Lebron and the Heat are destroying the Cavs early on. 10 pts in the first quarter and Miami on a 16-0 run.

LOL @ "Akron hates you" chant.

So far the Heat are destroying Cleveland. I love the honesty of Charles Barkley.

Wow...this brutal. Is there a mercy rule in the NBA? Things are going to get freaking ugly crowd wise if this score gets even more out of control.
