hydrocodone question

im pretty lazy to search around, but hydracodone is a pain killer right? my entire fúcking skull hurts and i took 5 (i think they were like 385mg each, normal size). that should be enough right? i still have the same pain but i feel fúcking crazy, i feel kinda drunk, and my brain is fúcking throbbing, why the fúck isnt the pain stopping???? is it safe if i sook ibuprophen with this stuff?
 
As far as I know Hydrocodone won't do anything for your headache because it dosen't have any acetominiphin, which is like the stuff in Tylenol/Tylenol 3 & 4. I've tried to take oxycodone for a headache before and it didn't do anything for it.

What strength does it say on the bottle?

It is likely just plain vicodin which contains 5mg hydrocodone and 500mg acetaminophen(APAP) in each tablet. Double check the strength on the bottle. Hydrocodone is a morphine derivative without the flushing and nausea. It still has the feel good effect though. Just ask Brett Favre.

Anyway,
You should not take more than 8 of these tablets in a day. Why? because that is 4,000mg of acetaminophen which is the maximum daily amount for an adult. Any more can damage the liver; and yes people have died from overdosing on APAP.

If you took 5 of these at the same time.... goodnight sleepyhead.

yes it is fine to take ibuprofen (advil, motrin) with it. Just keep it under 800mg per tab and also 3,200mg per day if you are an adult.

Thanks JesusCow, I love the show too, even though I'm way too old to be watching cartoons. My bad about the acetominiphin though, I thought there was none, but I just looked it up and rmblam is right. About the Ibuprofin, if you take more than 800mg at a time, make sure you take them AFTER eating or else you're in for one hell of an upset stomach. At least that's what happens to me.
 
there are 2 different sizes of pills, one says watson 385 (i think) and another just says M357 (or something)

im pretty sure it was hydrocodone 🙂
 
Watson 385 = 7.5mg hydrocodone/500mg acetaminophen (generic Lortab 7.5)

The other one m357 (smaller) is hydrocodone 5mg/500mg (generic vicodin)

Spongebob has a good point about the IBU. Bigger doses like 600-800mg can cause stomach upset in some people and a lightheaded feeling (slight dizziness). Although with you doped up like I expect you to be you wouldn't notice anyway. IBU doesn't bother me and it works like a champ for my headaches.

Did you really take 5 tabs at the same time?
