Hi folks!

As many here, I am trying to pump as much as I can out of my AMD Thunderbird 1.33Ghz. What is the fastest you guys were able to get out of this CPU? I have decent cooling (numerous case fans & Delta Fan setup on the CPU itself).

My system specs:
AMD Thunderbird 1.33 Ghz
o/c 1.47Ghz (11 x 133Mhz)
1 GB PC2100 DDR RAM
1 120GB WD HDD + 1 60GB WD HDD=180GB
Leadtek GeForce 2 Ultra (not o/c)

I am just curious how far one can go with this CPU. Thanks for any input in advance!

I know it's not the same proc or the same speed but i had an athlon 750 running stable at 940 using FSB. It depends on which way you decide to go. I prefer to use FSB myself but the multipliers seem to work well too. From all that I've read and personally done overclocking limits seem to be set by heat and hardware capabilities.

1.4 for sure, thats a simple enough OC. Anything pass that and your chances get real slim. It all really depends on the steping of your core.

I have had my week 9 axia up to 1540 with apparent stability but would get errors in the prime95 torture test. 1470 seemed to be the sweet spot for mine. With a minor voltage increase I could thrash the hell out of it with all my favorite benchmarks and prime 95 for hours on end with no loss of stability. normally run it at 1400 though since the differences from 1400 to 1470 were normally not noticeable in everyday use.
