For many years I have the HVAC systems in several rental properties. I do the minor siuff (elect controls, filters, blower/fan motors,capacitors,coil cleanings,checking refrigerant, general trouble shooting etc.) but avoid the major repairs (replacement or major components or systems ). I have EPA 608 Unversal certification as well.
