No more car payment = 400 dollars per month back into my pocket. :)

I suppose I could adjust the insurance policy to reflect this as well. Is the bank supposed to mail me some paperwork to reflect that the vehicle is owned by me?

Nice! I only have two more payments on mine.

My payment is about $400/month. 2003 Nissan Maxima SE...I'm the original owner. It has about 67,000 miles on it currently. It didn't make sense to pay cash for it or even put any money down as I got 5 years financing through the Nissan at 1.9%. I also paid about $5k under msrp.

Fuck that. We have 3 years left on my wife's car. Maybe when her Lexus is closer to being paid off I'll buy that Lotus Elise I've always wanted! :p

Congrats, feels good doesn't it? We just paid off my wifes car, so we have no more car payments for either vehicle. Enjoy the new money and drive carefully, you're not going to want to go back to a payment any time soon.

I have about 12 payments of $450 left on my Accord. Everyday I consider whether I should just pay it off and be done with it.

Every frickin' time I see the word "Huzzah!" I see the Professor in my mind yelling it will flailing his arms in the air and then breaking his back.
