Ok, Drudge's source was CBS.
CBS doesn't ahve it on their page yet.
But, basically high up US officials say they think they got him, and already posted that the tape was not live but taped.

When I looked at that page earlier it said nothing that wasn't posted in some of the other threads already. That Saddam had been targeted...a house in southern Baghdad hit...not known if anyone was killed or not but believed, from CIA info, that Saddam and top advisors were there.

He was indeed the target last night. If they didn't get him, they atleast got some very high officials in the IRAQI Army.

There was a Saddam tape ran right after the attack and IRAQ is saying he is still alive. They think it's potentially a body double stand in.
