Take some motrin ect ect, if your seat at your computer isnt all that great for support or even if it is, get a towel and fold it up , don't roll it up and put that behind you for support that should help some what to alleviate some of the pain.
Try laying down either on your back or stomach, if on your back get a couple of pillows and put them under your knees to elevate your legs or lay on your stomach and get a couple of pillows under your top half and lay there for a minute then take one out and lay there for another mi ute, alternate this for about 5 to 8 minutes ( elevating up and down )or just lay the pillows out ( one under your stomach and one under your upper torso and use heat and ice ).
Another thing you could do if you can get your hands on one is a Electroceutical medical device, they work wonders but they can be very $$$.
This is all I know about helping with back problems ( ruptured a disk myself ) of course it all depends on what you did to cause it in the first place.
One last thing if this is from a bending injury last thing you want to do is
bend forward, you want to give your rest not agrivate the injury any more, so dont bend forward.
