We in the midwest laugh at the suckers living on the coast 😛

We in the middle of the ocean laugh at anyone who lives on a continent. 😛

We that are safe from volcanoes and Japanese bombers laugh at those on a island.

looooooool, just a few days ago I was hearing about tropical storms affecting the price of gas. I can't imagine what a hurricane will do this year.

I am in constant fear of...

Hurricane Ditka

But we'll just put Ditka in front of the hurricane in a stance of dominance for the ultimate standoff.

I only worry about price gouging of gasoline. I live near the Appalachain mountains....I don't fear hurricanes because the big one hasn't reached this far inland yet. 😉

OK, we did have a hurricane in Ohio last year. Well, practically. Ike I believe it was. The rain wasn't there so much but we got the winds  That made a mess.

The last two years, I would have enjoyed a good hurricane hitting Florida and the rest of the south east because of the drought. Now, it won't stop raining and we've regained just about all the water losses over the last couple of years in just the first few months of this year.

I feel like I'm in Seattle. Any hurricane would probably result in some flooding in Atlanta area now because the ground is so soaked.

Ugh. The pandemonium ensues with the thought of a hurricane around here. But having been through Hugo, Fran, Bertha, Floyd and a few others, I is prepared.

I've been in NorCal over 20 years and we haven't had a single hurricane in all that time.
(and where we're at, we rarely even feel earthquakes...but when we do, they're usually pretty big)
