Crap, one of the reports I'm reading says Metarie(where Aaron is) was hit particularly hard.

The real thing that worries me seeing the destruction that has been wreaked on LA,MS, and AL is that something like that could hit where I am just as easily.
🙁
I hope that everyone that posts here from those areas and their familes are ok.

Best of Luck to all in the area, and god speed in finding out if Aaron is OK and also Whisper

It was hit hard.

Let's keep our faith high here, and hope he has survived. We've all seen video of others that have survived this attrocity, even those in their 80's, so let's hope for best.

I so hope he returns to tell his story, not so much because I want to hear it, but because I want to know that he's alive, as we all do I'm sure.

The local fire station was reporting 40 MPH sustained winds here. It lasted a long time and we have alot of tree limbs down. We do not to much severe damage around here. A tree took out a car a few houses down but just riding around on my 4 wheeler I did not see to much damage.

I just got electricity. I'm amazed it came up this quick. I hope it stays.
Are you in Baton Rouge?

Yes I'm here in BR.
Are you having phone problems? I'm trying to call my great uncle's (landline) where my sister and grandmother are and I keep getting circuits busy.

Phones are iffy (if that is a word). Sometimes mine works sometimes it does not.

Ok, thanks for the update. I just want to get in touch with them, last I heard they don't have power, I'm assuming they haven't seen the imagery of the damage to NO so far.
