OK, I assume that "parrish" means something similar to "city" right? I'm sorry, but I'm from the Midwest and "parrish" here is a church.

I thought it meant "church" as well, coming from the Northeast though.

I think a parrish is more of like a neighborhood, they are all part of the city of New Orleans. (keyword: think, not know)

A parrish is a church district but LA uses them as counties and just kept the church name because of the heavy catholic influence in the area.

LOL, I just mailed the feedback link (seems to go to the General Manger) and said Marcus is the sh1t! 😀
Are you talking about the link here? If so, I can see how to send something to "general comments," but not the general manager.

That link and the one for the GM are the same.

well, this sucks

EDIT: did you see the timer record thing pop up?

someone's gonna be in trouble for using studio equipement to try and record their soap opera

ok it's back now

WTF? WDSU just switched over to a soap opera!

Yeah, big WTF! I saw a box in the corner saying "CH5" or something. That happened earlier, but I thought it was to do with the station.

Seems like WSDU is back.

This feed is fvcking messed up! 😕

OK, thanks for educating the idiots like myself. I'd never heard that word used like that before.

I have to say I'm impressed it's held up as well as it has...moving an entire station to another city and maintaining a web feed with very little downtime in such a disaster is quite impressive.

EDIT: I'll be sure to send my thanks to both WWL and WDSU for such excellent work. It sucks watching the horrible sensationalist national news during localized events such as this. CNN, Fox, TWC are unbearable to watch. These local guys know what they are doing...they'd rather repeat themselves over and over instead of spreading rumors.

Yeah, I wasn't bashing them, just the random damage footage then the soap opera thing, it's getting a bit crazy 😀

I just realised that's why WWL's coverage was totally different to yesterday's. They must have relocated too.
