Hunter seems to be in enough trouble with the law (possible wire fraud and tax fraud) and it has nothing to do with his laptop. AFAIK nobody has linked anything on his laptop to any of his alleged crimes, which are already under active investigation by DOJ. If DOJ found something there, then maybe they’re holding those cards close to their chest for a possible indictment. Who knows.

But let’s all stop talking about the damned laptop until there’s something there.

I’m confident if Hunter is genuinely guilty of a crime Biden will let the justice system work as intended. Everyone here knows Trump would never do that.

Trump right now is by far the favorite for the nomination. Of course this is an eternity in politics so it is far far far from a given, but I mean this is a testament to how far gone the GQP is. No moderate Republican has a shot in hell, we know this, so the only way Trump is defeated is by someone as shitty as him, just more 'refined'. DeSantis is proving to have gotten in way over his head already, and before he even had to face the media not completely handled with gloves.

Anybody who would vote for Trump a third time is the enemy. I'm not saying they were born to be evil, or as a person there wasn't any hope for them, and in fact, with unlimited resources and time and a time machine, we could definitely reach some of them - but it's way too fucking late. I'm saying they are the enemy because at this point, if you still think like them, it's over and if you don't realize they are the enemy, you are gonna get caught with your pants down like so many other populations in the history of the world.

This whole Hunter Biden thing is just such an example of how their minds are melted and there is no hope in this lifetime in this dimension or on this timeline for any of those people.
 
Look... Donald has sticky fingers. Trump tends to get hold of things that he shouldn't, and then he won't let go.
Hunters laptop could be just one of the many things Trump laid his sticky fingers on at one time. And it makes sense. Trump along with Steve Bannon and that crazy weird penguin guy Roger Stone love playing their psyops games and pulling their mob stuff, so for them to have gotten hold of Hunters laptop then planting fake stuff against Hunter seems perfectly plausible to me.

Like with election rigging. I still believe Trump rigged the 2016 election in his favor, and frankly it has been only republicans that have figured out how to successfully rig elections. They call it gerrymandering. Along with pulling dirty tricks to stack the courts especially to stack the highest court in the land, then they can rig elections all day long as much as they want with the help of those republican stacked courts. Stacked courts, all for the purpose of upholding the gerrymandering.

I look at Arizona. Arizona went for the democrat Biden in 2020, and Arizona elected a democrat as their governor, YET... their state house and state senate are filled with republicans. How does THAT happen????
By gerrymandering, or what it should be truly called as RIGGING AN ELECTION.
Again, if you got a democrat governor elected by the people of a given state, and that same state voted for the democrat Biden yet the other state branches of government are republican, well... you know something fishy is going on.
And.... Arizona is not the only state that falls into this strange category.

Yes, exactly like that. Since using your dad's name or hoping people will pay you because your dad is famous is not illegal. The only thing that would have been illegal is for Joe Biden to make policy decisions to help his son get those positions. So far, I have not heard any allegation of that, and even if there were it would not be Hunter that was the one in trouble, it would be Joe.

But, once again, to be clear, there is literally no evidence that Joe Biden ever did anything illegal or even unethical to help Hunter get those positions, even if Hunter didn't earn those positions, which also is not clear. Maybe Hunter is just really good at interviewing? (I don't really believe that last bit, he 100% used his dad's name to get those positions, but once again, that is not illegal, just disappointing.)

You gotta wonder just uow desperate the Republicans must be to try to get dirt on Biden if the best they can come up with is Hunter's compromised laptop with planted 'evidence' on it. And even that 'evidence' isn't any good.
This is almost as bad as how they kept going off about Hillary and Benghazi even after the Republican-led House committee determined it was a Pentagon official who F'ed up on that.

I don't think its desperation, its simply how they operate. This isn't new, they've been pulling this shit at least as far back as Nixon. And they've essentially never really faced actual consequences for it so why would they ever stop?

They used to be less brazen and brag about it so openly, but I think that's simply more the product of modern social media influenced society where that's the game they have to play so they're more than willing to play it.
 
The latest segment on this is awesome. Trump supporting members of Congress are now saying that it is inappropriate for family members of public officials to make money off the family name.
