Hunter The Reckoning question.....

Is the game supposed to have background music throughout? When I play, it seems to be sporadic when the music comes on and dies off. I know the XBOX has been known to have really sh!tty lasers so I want to know if this is the case so I can exchange the system before the 30 days.

Since I'm such a nice guy, here's excerpts from some reviews:

The musical tracks don't manifest themselves too often, only appearing when there are a considerable number of enemies onscreen. Once defeated, the zombies fade alongside the music, which subsides into its usual lull. It's disappointing that the music doesn't pick up more often, and even more disappointing that the game makes no use of the XBox's custom playlists. Seeing as most gamers pick up games like this while listening to their own tunes, it's a shame that High Voltage didn't opt to let players make personal soundtracks out of ripped MP3s.

Hunter's music tends to be pretty limited in breadth, as it makes only minimal appearances. These occasions tend to either backdrop the cutscenes with suitably blood curdling minor keys, or preface what we can only call a "surge" in undead activity. In truth, this latter implementation is very impressive, as the introduction of fast paced combat music means that any player worth their salt is going to activate their Edges to get a fighting chance; and fast, before a score of ravening corpses come for them. By enhancing the gameplay dynamically, rather than simply droning on all the time, the music has a very tangible, and highly desirable, effect on Hunter: The Reckoning.

So I guess that doesn't really answer your question. 😛

actually it does. i thought there was suppose to be rock and roll music constantly but that wasn't the case when i play so i got worried the xbox lasers might be crapping out.

No sometimes the music just stops. THere's no constant rock and roll, sorry.
I suggest you just blast a Rob Zombie CD while you play for the proper effect.
