Hunter Comes Within an Inch of Being Lion Food

Let me get this straight, the guy sets himself up between a charging lion and a ... line of guns? I'm surprised he isn't dead from the sheer stupidity.

Or maybe they were taking care of a lion that had been harassing a tribe or other game? They should be commended for their hunting, not scolded.

or maybe they were on a game preserve where they pay thousands of $ to "hunt" a lion that is in an enclosure and then is herded towards the hunters for a "guaranteed kill" :disgust:

those animals are also sick and/or old. Though the terrain looks more similar to Africa than the Floridian/Montanan "game preserves" that we have. But I did have the same thought...

If this was a man-eating lion, then kudos to them, but that's such an extremely rare event.

they also have them in Africa, and they usually try to provide "trophy" quality animals.
