You act like Hunter Biden is the first well known name to get a plush job on a board. I can name 3 politically famous ones and nobody blinked. Also no evidence Joe was involved.
You’re right, Joe’s political connections had nothing to do with Hunter’s cushy banking, Amtrak, Navy and consulting jobs.

I'm amazed you think there is an issue just because Trump told you there is. It's the same taking a knee bullshit and birtherism. You let Trump drive the agenda.
I thought birtherism and tan suits and Benghazi were all bullshit. People are free to take a knee and I am free to criticize privileged athletes for doing so. Hunter is trash.

You let Trump influence your mind far more than I do.

You mean a question that's completely off topic, which is where you want to go? You've already invoked Hillary & Germany, as if they have anything to do with this.
I am surprised that he hasn`t invoked God`s will........

guys the plane is crashing and the pilot is a goddamn moron who hasn't even played a flight sim let alone actually sat in the front left seat before but the more serious issue is why the passenger in seat 27B didn't get two sugars in his coffee like he asked!

Then we should be far more concerned about Ivanka and Jared since they are actually in the administration as opposed to Hunter who won't be.

Here's an entire thread why this isn't a Hunter/Joe Biden problem

I was responding to where others directed the conversation. I am happy to resume talking about what a good dude Hunter Biden is.

Then why is Germany struggling?
Proximity dude. Besides Germany and Italy are part of the EU and we all know Italy is suffering. We had more time to get our act together and we didn't because it was an "impeachment hoax" and it was "under control"

Which U.S. politicians were calling for those serious steps back in those early days? Supply us the links and dates please. I'd like to see them. Was it one of the Democratic nominees? links or it didn't happen.
Here are Democrats calling out the possibility of this very thing in 2009 trying to fund it while Republicans are unwilling.
President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 in February of that year. Two months later, in April, as a new influenza outbreak, H1N1, known as swine flu, got underway, Democrat David Obey, who chaired the House Appropriations committee at the time, took Collins to task:

“Whether or not this influenza strain turns out to have pandemic potential, sooner or later some strain will. We are not prepared today. Let’s hope we don’t need to be.”

We live in a transient global economy. Germany, Italy and America are all equally connected to Wuhan.

Italy is suffering due to cultural dynamics...a large elderly population and a culture that values spending time with them.

Germany is trying to balance its commitment to an EU economic zone of open borders and the realities of containment.

In the US we have young people selfishly and old people ignorantly dismissing the lifestyle inconveniences of shelter in place. GenX is the only one taking this thing seriously. You want to blame someone? Look out your window.

Any idea where anyone in this country got the notion this was not a big deal? Anyone you know pushing "this is nothing to worry about", "hoax", "we have this under control". Think that contributed to the attitude?

The link is about as relevant to the Chinese virus outbreak as the response for Democratic mayor of Portland, Oregon, George Luis Baker's response to the Spanish flu almost 100 years ago.

Any relevant links to the Chinese virus (COVID-19)?

So dishonest. Collins & the GOP in general are ideologically opposed to the big gubmint notion of what really is deeply socialist public health spending. They want the minimum, the cheapest way they can get over. And they got it, too. So here we are, caught standing around flat footed while subtly & not so subtly blaming the Chinese after engaging in a great deal of Trumpian bluster & denial.

But they're forging ahead investigating Hunter Biden, obviously, while Trump tries to purge all the competence right out of the Executive Branch & the extreme weaknesses of the financial system become manifest.
