Hummm A Dr's note to get an office with a window

a few people are a little upset with a person who works at my company. She went to her dr complaining about not getting enough sleep. The dr told said that her sleep pattern is out of whack because she isnt seeing any natural sunlight during the day. So her Dr wrote a prescription to move her to an office with a window. She gave the prescription to our Facilities manager and he gave her a office with a window...

how lame is that?? offices with windows are prime real estate around here and we all know she did that just to get her way... :|
 
I would have laughed and stuck her in a cube farm... people go through so many lengths to get what they want in life

My office has a window, but I always have the blinds closed to reduce the glare on my monitor, so it kind of defeats the whole purpose...
 
At my last job, I had an office with a window... too bad the job only lasted like 3 months 🙁

Before that, I was a cube jockey... didn't mind it much, my cube was right next to an office that had a window 😀
 
Throw a rock at her "precious" window from the outside 😀
.. and have other people from nearby buildings have binoculars and telescopes to "watch" her.

You casually point out
"Ohh man look at those people.. they're watching your every move"

Don't forget to be snobby to her and degrade her because of the fact she is female and she is a total

The watching thing wont work. the buildings windows are tinted very dark, you can not see in when its light outside.

Then wait till she pulls the shade and then rat on her! She has a prescription for sunlight?? And she pulls the shades??

Well, she took advantage of the system, and now's she's got the office with the window. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Although she must not care about what other people think of her.

WTF are you guys bashing her for??~??!?!!? Her doctor probably found that she had seasonal depression (I do to - symptoms, f'ed up sleep pattern, always feeling sleepy, depressed, etc) and that is the only treatment for it (exposure to sunlight in the morning hours, and throughout the day). It sucks that you guys are ignorant to her problem. Next thing you know, you'll be bitching about kids with downs syndrome who have it easy throughout high school - i mean, common, they shouldn't have it easy because they're a little dumb!!!

You have to sit in front of those lights for up to two hours in the morning, and when you're working or moving around, that don't help much. Natural sunlight is MUCH better.
