Confirmed.

I bought the bundle several days ago for $5. The new games were added to my account.

That actually confirms nothing in regards to the actual discussion (about how these games are added), as you paid above the average.

And that's a gaffe on this particular bundle. What I said for how the bundles work is how they work now.

Either these games are misplaced on the web site, or they screwed up in giving everyone access to them. I've bought plenty of these bundles in the recent past, both above and below the average. Like the Deep Silver bundle, I did NOT gain access to Metro 2033 and Risen when they were added because I paid below the average, and those games were put behind the BTA wall when they were added.

That's how it's been ever since BTA was introduced.

Oops. Sorry, I misread.

That's odd, because I've bought plenty of bundles below average and all the additions have always unlocked for me, as long as I buy them before the BTA rewards are announced.

So I purchased this mostly for dead space 3; and while i'm only 25% into the game I have to say it is very disappointing. Mostly the controls are bonkers on the pc (and like dark soul they can't take the time to show you the correct controls when playing kb/mouse). The structure/story is ok i guess but it lacks something also the graphics are odd - the perspective goes wonky when you get close to objecst at certain angles. So far definitely a thumbs down; it just doesn't need to be painful to look at logs et all on a pc; games I played 10 years ago didn't have this kind of silly confusing interface even though they were more complex; just don't get how difficult it is to make a clean intuitive interface.

oh well I'll probalby finish it but I think they killed a promising series with this one. definitely a mega thumbs down.

I think this is likely 'deal of the year'.

I would say more like "greatest deal ever".

I used to think that the bundle that came with my soundblaster gamer card was the best of all time:

Deus Ex
Unreal tournament
MDK 2
Thief 2

Of course, that was in pre-download days; they were all discs. But this deal surpasses that by a wide margin, and they even threw in two extra games to boot.

If you don't own any of the games this is the greatest deal ever for sure.

I have neved had any problems with Origin.

I had this problem where I really wanted to play Dragon Age 2, and they yanked it off of Steam. I'm exclusively a Steam gamer. That's also cost me Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2. And the free game codes for Assassin's Creed Black Flag & Tom Clancy Splinter Cell Rapid Sodomy are useless to me since they require uPlay. I don't understand why Valve's competitors can't just stop trying and surrender to Steam.

But if you owned it on steam you keep it on steam, did you miss it when it was on steam? Personally I prefer steam but I've never had an issue with origin. I feel people get way too hung up on EA/origin.

Huh. Bnet's small GUI is infinitely easier and simpler when you want to just play those games.
Why avoid good games because of that?

The decentralization of my games makes me think back to having tons of cd cases that I had to mess with. I don't want multiple accounts for multiple services so I can play games.
