Humble Bundle: Origin Sale (wtf?! Battlefield 3?) - NO money goes to EA!

Yeah, I have a THQ key from last christmas still sitting around lol. I should probably just give it to someone since I think I did get one to all my friends.

I have a Google Doc where I paste all of my unused game keys to give away at a later date. I have about 40 not-activated Steam and Origin games, lol.

Only if the terms of the deal don't allow giving away the keys.

Otherwise, it's the value of the gift, not the price of the gift.

Ridiculous value, I'll be picking up at least one for myself and can probably get a couple friends a copy of BF3 finally. I'd love to see BF3 premium as an addon but I don't see that happening lol; also since they're selling Dead Space and Dead Space 3, Dead Space 2 seems a perfect fit for an addon.

Paid $10, well worth it.

Have to wonder if the BF3 DLC isn't a bit of a moneymaker helping justify the deal.

In for $4.54. Mainly wanted Crysis 2 on Steam. I'd love to play BF3, but I'm boycotting Origin until EA decides to play nice with Valve and give me a chance to BUY DA2, ME3, BF3, and others on Steam.

If you bought it for yourself, then yes. Technically, that's against the Humble Bundle TOS. If you bought it with the gift option selected and will give him the key, then no. 😛

I feel like Humble Bundles are taking some of the steam out of Steam sales (pun intended).

Example: I was patiently waiting for Crysis 2 to be on a Steam sale for $5.

But now I own it for $4.54 plus a whole bunch of other games......with no Steam sale (and Steam sale excitement) involved.

You only need Origin installed for the games that only have Origin keys.

If you install the Steam version of the game, Origin is not involved.
