Humble Bundle Monthly to start adding Tax

Anyone else get this notice from HB?

I just got it.
They're going to start adding State Sales Tax (for U.S. don't know about elsewhere) to the cost of the HB Monthly.

For me, that's another 10%, so a good way to be even less incentivized to go for the Bundle gambles.

This will likely be the last for me - going to have to be something I'm really looking for to jump into this again.

Oddly I don't seem to get emails from them anymore which means I think I've missed out on some bundles, shame because a lot of them have at least 1-2 good games in them. Considering you pay what you want to start with, the extra tax (if applicable to the UK) doesn't bother me.

Apparently It's just for the U.S.

Depending on you State (maybe local too) Tax rates, that's what will be applied.


This also applies to purchases made at the Humble Store.

I'm not sure if it starts immediately or the beginning of next month, but it will be on the next Humble Bundle Monthly.

Good. Sales tax goes for good things and should be charged.
