Hulk Hogan's son gets 8 months in jail, 5 years probation

I remember when this initial happened there was a question if he had been drinking.

Look at part of the sentence:

No alcohol during the term of his probation
Driver's license suspension for three years
DUI school and advanced defensive driving school

That answers that.

Man, this situation is sad (for the injured kid and his fam that is).

IMHO Hogan was seriously lacking as a father here, and partially at fault. IF, and a big IF here, but IF I ever gave my kid a souped up Supra or any other "faster" type car I'd sure as hell monitor his driving (i.e. if he got speeding tickets driving rights are revoked).

Hell, you can even put monitors on teenagers cars that will report speeding to you via email. Surely the Hulkster could afford that.

I was always a fan of Hogan back in his old school days, not that it has any real bearing here, but I hate that he's honored as father of the year when he obviously saw a pattern of his kid being reckless and did nothing about it.

Then to whine in court that it tears YOUR family apart....who gives a fuck....it should. When your kid comes out of jail he'll have two good legs, two good arms and a whole functional brain (well, that last parts debatable). Yeah it messed your family up I'm sure....we all coulda guessed that, but to say that in court is just in bad taste. As is wearing a bandana. I've seen a judge put people in jail for contempt for far less.

Hogan has to know, or have heard about at least, the kids who died in daddys M5 on Travoltas runway. That should have been red flag number one.

Why america rewards stupidity I'll never understand.

Funny thing is he can and has already done it. There was an episode of Hogan Knows Best where he did this to Brooke to track her during a date.

Didn't know that......Well that just reinforces my "Hogan DOES NOT know best" argument.

I wonder, Misterjackson if you have any teenage children of your own? My guess is NO.

A ten year old son. But what the fuck has that got to do with the price of rice in China? If I had a "teenage" son then I'd be okay with him being a reckless person over and over?!?!?!

Your logic fails.

bandannas aren't even allowed in court. however early reports indicate the judge decided not to say anything because he feared that quote "hulkamania would run wild on him".

well played, sir, well played

I know that exact spot where he got a speeding ticket in Pinellas Park. I drive through it almost every week. He's a good guy, these are good people. Its disappointing that something as devastating as this is the only thing that will teach him to slow down and take more responsibility.

Yup...

He won't learn shit.

Do you know where I could get an application?

Wow! I never saw (never looked), a photo of him after the crash. Why do they even keep him alive? It's not him anymore.

Thanks for posting that. I am now twice as angry with that little shit crying about how jail is scary and he wants to go home. He should man up and put a gun in his mouth.
