From CNN: Chavez still in 'delicate' condition three weeks after surgery, Venezuelan VP says.

If the report of Chavez being dead is true, it will come as no surprise. Because he has been suffering from a severe case of cancer for years. But still Chavez was a very popular leader.

As the question would now become, will Chavez be replaced by another Chavez type clone? As the most likely outcome.

After that any guess is as good as another.

Chavez was a socialist dictator.

That's what happens when the wealthy ruling class shits on the people and uses their power to greedily grab every thing they can.

Eventually the rest of the people become so pissed off they look for radical solutions.

Sounds just like what is going to happen in the US.

Good riddance if he is indeed dead. I'm sure there's a nice spot in very hot fiery place reserved just for him.

My bet is that he is actually brain dead and in Cuba which is causing his Democrat allies err.......... Communist allies problems with his upcoming inauguration. They have to figure out some way to break the law and destroy the Venezuelan Constitution without looking bad. Maybe Obama can volunteer to send Airforce1 down to help his friend and buddy out. Birds of a feather and all that.

Earth to monovillage, when a leader of a country, be they popular with you are not, is stricken with an incurable disease like cancer, there is no force on earth that can long delay their death. Why should Chavez be any different? As death is the the impartial fate of everyone. Be they good or rotten from the viewpoint of someone else.

But when it comes to a world leader dying, the real question is who will replace them? As somehow Monovillage, I really doubt the people of Venezuelan will pay any attention to your preferences.

Big deal, I doubt if they listen to yours either. I know I sure don't give a rat's ass what one of the posters that use your account thinks.
