Hugh Masekela legendary South African jazz musician passes

I'll always remember my first introduction to Hugh was from the Monterey Pop festival video. Contatnly reminded of Hugh with Eric Burdon's song Monterey. "Hugh Masekela's music was black as night."

Same. I loved his performance there. Him, and Ravi Shankar left the most enduring impressions on me.
