>>>hugh jass! hahahha who thought of that?<<<

Most of the references to Mr. Jass on Google are attributed to Bart Simpson - see here for an example..."Bart: Uh, yes I'm looking for a friend of mine. Last name Jass, first name Hugh.
Moe: Hold on, I'll check (to crowd) Hugh Jass. Hey, I wanna Hugh Jass. Oh, someone check the men's room for a Hugh Jass.

There is also a reference to an "Ivana Tinkle' there.

In the past, I have used these nicknames, and others:

Hugh Mungus
Jo King
Dane Bramage [brain damage]
sPamela
and Ray Pist :)

Never used Ben Dover...that is soooooo overdone.

I checked at my local radio shack yesterday and they didn't have these nor did they even know anything about them. :( We have a radio shack "outlet" store fairly close so Im going there next.

Eminem2k1 - Any felt based pad that I've used works great with optical mice. I want this big one for playing Quake 3 XSIV, hope I can get one!

We all had class with Mr. Nibbler but back them we all just called him Dick

I knew this guy who came from Vietnam and his name was Phat Dong. He changed it to an american name shortly after. He finally realized why everybody in the room would laugh when he would say his name.

Frank's Zappa named his son Ahmet...in school, he was teased with the name Ahmet Vomit. So he changed his name to Rick, and of course they called him Rick Dick :Q

My Radio Shack is a ripoff.
Not only is their Acoustic pad 12" x 12" (not 12 1/2" x 12 1/2"), they had a price of $9.99 on the wrapper. Guess that's why they still had 2 of these (with the one on top having a 1/4" of dust on it).

Not any more :D 99 ¢

The chick at the counter eyes started bugging out. I asked if there were more in the back and she said no. Was there really no more ? ;)

If you really want a slick mousepad for your optical mouse, just get one of those Tyvek envelopes from the USPS (that you received in the mail, natch), and you'll have a friction free pad that works better than any mouse pad you'll pay for-

Well, well, well... this deal is still kickin'. hehe

Finally went by two Radio Shack's in my area, Tampa, and I got two at each store. Whoo hoo. This is actually the first time I have gotten in on any kind of deal posted here. Too bad it was just for a couple of big ol' mousepads but hey... a deal is a deal. Gonna plaster my new desk at work with them tomorrow.

Funny thing though, mine don't say "Hugh Jass" on them. I'm quite disappointed. ;OP

I appreciate the heads-up on this deal, Maverick319!

My local RudioSnack store had three, with a shelf tag of $10. I asked for a price check, and the shoe salesman must have just gone to the web to check, cause he came back with a $5 price. I actually needed one, so I was going to buy one at $5, but when he rang it up on the register, it came up at 99 cents... so I took all three.

I brought 3 of these from the local radioshack, and they make great mousepads.
I let 1 inch hang out the desk so I no longer rub my arms against the edge.
However, I don't know how durable it is as a mousepad, mine already has some
wear on the sides, maybe I just play too much serious sam 1 & 2.
Maybe I shold raid another radioshack for more as backups:)
