when i heard this, i was so shocked.

i seriously thought that Stack was going to retire a Piston......

as a Piston fan, I'm not sure how much I like Richard Hamilton....he's so damn skinny.

I don't understand this deal. Why would the Pistons deal Stackhouse for Hamilton (the other guys are just filler really)? I thought Stackhouse had a breakthrough season last year. He was trusting his getting his teammates involved more, playing better defense, and it was paid off with a good season. Odd trade that I think improves Washington but hurts Detroit.

Probably because they didn't want to pay Stack big money. He was going to opt out of his contract at the end of this year and then probably ask for some big bucks.

Looks like MJ is getting ready for one final shot to the playoff. They still need one dependable big man though.

LOL, who else from UNC can Jordan pull under his roof?

Speakin of...I was listening to the local sports radio station this morning and they were holding a benefit at a bowling alley for 9/11--they were also reminiscing how last year they were at the same bowling alley doing a benefit for the Dell Curry foundation when the news struck about what had happened in NYC. Ruined the whole day. Anyways, one of the DJs was remembering that around 10:45 AM on 9/11/01 Vince Carter showed up for an interview. Everyone thought he wouldn't show up because of the terror attacks etc., but when he showed up everyone was impressed...until he opened his mouth. His first words to the reporters and DJs were "Please, no questions about MJ" (and yes, he DID know what was going on!!!) That whole radio station lost all respect for him that day.
