Nordstrom is having it's anniversary sale; biggest mark-downs of the year. The entire stole will have reduced items. Great time to get some summer clothes.
Sale Dates:
7/18 7:00 - 10:00
7/19 9:00 - 9:00
7/20 10:00 - 7:00

It's not that items are marked down, it's NEW fall items that are reduced in price before they go back up.

The real deals are at Nordstrom Rack around Sept. 1, but YMMV at that point.

I worked there during a summer in College. This sale IS worth it.

I was just thinking about this and whether or not to post the info since I do work there fearful of self promotion :)

Glad someone did.

Nordstrom's normal prices are so darn expensive that it has to be a big time sale to get me to buy.

but their policies r awesome.. I bought shoes there for $129, a year later they ripped, I didnt have a receipt or anything, the guy said: I am sorry, here, try a new pair.. I tried, I liked and I was given the NEW pair FREE..
he also said: Have a nice day..

Nordstroms sends all of their returns(and some overstocks) to a place in Phoenix called Last Chance. Prices are really low. Some of it is c*ap but some real good deals. No exchanges/no returns.

For example,I got a new pair of Ferragamos for $29 but this place is a BIG YMMV as stock changes everyday.

(Went there once when they opened--there were at least 150 people waiting to get in:Q)

We were there about a week ago getting shoes for my wife. The sales lady told us about this sale. For example, a pair of shoes normally $139 are going to be $99. She is holding them for us.

only?? But these are Monroe shoes. i.e. They are the only thing my wife can wear, she's a 6WW!! She's tried others but always end up sending them back. And Monroe's are not cheap. We scoured the internet looking for retailers, but no luck. Nordstrom is about the only local place to get them that carry that size.
