J/K, I know this is a PC thread. I haven't been following any PC games recently but a guy at work says FEAR is pretty cool for single player. Also, COD2 looks really badass on the 360 so I would assume it's going to be just as good on PC. I'm definitely going to pick that game up w/my 360.
 
AoE3. I can't get enough of the demo. I also tried F.E.A.R and it was OK. Not sure if I like it enough to justify spending $55. I know my roommate wants to buy the game. I've never tried any of the Civ games. I might have to download the demo and give it a try.

If nissan makes a GTR looking like the G45, i will be dissapointed... G45 is a great looking car, but not for a GTR

i could go over to the mall and buy AOE 3 and borrow one of these monster laptops, but then i would be up until 2 am playing and i have to get up by 6 am

i'll be buying a couple of copies of AOE 3

LOL I guess I wasn't clear, graphical bonanaza missing gameplay ==> NO SALE, hence the "slot" for another game. I'm so disappointed in the Live series... heck in computer bball over all. It seems like every year the makers of the games find a way to avoid improving the aspects that really need improving by covering warts in a different way. <sigh>

Good point on the Q4 thing. Self-pwned, but what can ya do? I guess I'm getting old or something. 😀
 
Won't be getting any of them any time soon unless Quake 4 has good multiplayer and will run decently on my current rig. Probably get FEAR in about a year when I upgrade.
 
Whenever somebody makes a Team Fortress mod I'll jump all over the Quake4 bandwagon. Valve should be releasing Team Fortress 2 any day now . . . 😛

Just got FEAR, although I can't play it since I'm still waiting for my Video card to arrive from the RMA. Tomorrow. And note to self, preordering on Best Buy sucks, because now I've paid 10 bucks and they don't even have it yet. If I see it somewhere else, I'll be lost on 10 bucks. Maybe anothe Best Buy will have it.

Other games don't seem interesting to me.

They are!? I saw a preview of it in motor trend, something to the tune of an VQ35DETT, AWD G35 Coupe....looked like fvckin sex!!! Is it coming as a Nissan or an Infiniti?

Yeah, looks like I'll be getting CoD2 and maybe Civ4 and just reinstalling Age of Kings. Haven't got the expansion pack for RTW yet either, and that game on Very Hard is a fun enough challenge.

I ordered it rather than bought it. It should arrive thursday which is good because I don't need distractions this week. Loved Ico, reviews of SotC all say one of the best games ever. Can't wait.
