Try slower ram timings in BIOS,also make sure you have latest chipset drivers installed(like AGP driver for VIA,SiS boards etc).I also like to leave PCI slot one empty(nearest to AGP slot).

Few BIOS tweaks won`t do no harm so disable all video ram shadowing, disable fastwrites, disable system bios cacheable, disable video ram cacheable.

Try AGP aperture size at both 64mb and 128mb size in BIOS & if you are in 8x AGP mode(depending on the board in question) try 4x AGP mode.

cant change anything in the bios, this board has almost nothing in the bios :(
no shadowing, no fastwrites, not even an aperture size :(
4x because the board doesnt have 8x
by the way its a gigabyte 7vac

yes pci 1 is open, I also like to leave it open :)

reading about the "loop problem" someone said they upped the agp voltage and it fixed the prob for them, I do have a option to up the voltages in my bios, should I do that or its dangerous to up the agp voltage ? Im especially worried because my card is extreemly hot, the capacitors are so hot I cant touch them (and thats after 30min of use)

what do you guys say ?

EDIT: checked every single capacitor, only the 2 next to the video out are extreemly hot, the rest are ok
EDIT2: tried boosting the voltage by 0.1, interesting result, did not hang this time, but it dragged a$$ something scary, went through 3dmark2003 at 0-2fps :) rating 71 :) what a s3 virge with 2mb should of done better right ? :)

Thanks

one more thing, it not only hangs, but before it hangs its dragging a$$ something bad, I mean in 3dmark and in some games it will lagg (like when you play an online game at 28.8k and you get the phone jack and nothing happens for 5-10seconds)

Thanks
