They look like good prices to me. I wonder if I should replace my 1GB of Corsair XMS with 2GB...

Good question. How much general improvment in perf do you get when you go from 1 to 2 gig. My guess is a more std user , not much. MAybe it helps some games or big video editing apps. Specially when you are hunting down that last <15%. I don't know that I would suggest most generic home users upgrade beyond 512 even. Of course 128 and 256meg users going to 512 is like getting a brand new PC. Anyone agree or disagree?

In a word: Yes.

I don't know how I lived without 2gb of RAM before. I upgraded strictly for Battlefield 2, and I was amazed when I could alt-tab out of any program and not have a moment's stutter. But then again, I'm an avid gamer and experienced photoshop user....

The PC-4000 RAM is a good price, the rest are mediocre.
