Is it just me, or does it sound like somebody added the background voices as a joke? It doesn't sound like it belongs in the video. Also I think they may be speaking gibberish instead of Arabic.

Middle eastern area? Business as usual, but they got it on video, and for that, we thank them.

Look at the size of it though, it was pretty damn impressive, I mean it takes 9 seconds for the sound of the large explosion to reach the camera, that is 3km away (give or take)....that was massive.

Oh yeah it is quite impressive for sure, and probably bigger than the typical every day explosion. What is the story behind it anyway? Is it a bomb going off or something else?

Total guess, but Israeli airstrike. Either way looks like an airstrike from this layman's perspective

well take this with a grain of salt BUT the reports currently are as follows:

According to Syrian activists, the Israeli Airstrike targeted the following locations:
105th Brigade (Republican Guard)
104th Brigade
Missile Brigade (Qasioun Mount)
Arms Depot (Qasioun Mount)
Jamraya Scientific Research Centre
Defense Factories near the town of Hameh.
One location near the premises of the Fourth Division in Qudsaya.
Arms Depot for the Fourth Division in Qudasya.
Scud Missile base between the towns of Ma’arbeh and al-Tal.
More than 2000 soldiers were killed.

Nothing to see, it's just Israel exercising its right to bomb other people.

purported map of the blast sites.

Again nothing official, just some stuff found on reddit and some Israeli news forums.

I haven't followed very much with this whole thing... all I know is that region is fucked up. Israel, Syria, everyone.
