eBay is also suing Craiglist, they want to kill them.

Why? Because they don't get to dig their greedy transaction / final value / listing / paypal fee hands into every transaction.

I think their plan is to screw CL up, get their own free service popular and then slowly add in fees.

They actually are trying to hurt CL. There is a big legal battle going on between Craigslist and eBay in terms of ownership and competitive practices.

Bah... they don't have a site for my city. This place has 150,000 people living around here, and the closest cities are 35 miles away :(

Just took a quick look and it seems 90% of the ads for my town are almost a month old.

I actually prefer the mid-90's Craigslist look over it as well-- it's easier to skim listing to find exactly what I want.
