I had a blind girl come to children's church last night. She is going into 4th grade so I guess about 9 or 10 years old. It's the first blind person I had ever been around.. she was in very high spirits but I still couldn't imagine going through life not being able to see. I think she could see shapes because she knew when she was getting close to someone but she had to be nearly running over them before she realized it. Her personality was a little different too and she had some odd twitches. Maybe she has some sort of other underlying problem that caused her blindness.
