At least for my area. There is a Army depot here and all they sell are old base stuff, and I know folks in the disposition area and is legit. I've been waiting for a 2.5T truck on the cheap :D

how do we know if the equipment is in working order? there are some pressure washers in my area.. they look good, but who knows?

If you look at the bottom of the page, there is a condition listing. H7, B1, something like that. I forget the codes, but you can look them up. H7 I believe is scrap, unsalvagable (for the gov, perhaps if you were handy, say if it were a truck you could fix it).

Usually on vehicles it will say if they are not running. The 3 CUCV (old Chevy Blazers) 2 are listed as "non-starting" and the other doesn't. But there is a phone number you can call at the base and ask questions, they have people whose only job is to get rid of this stuff.

How do you sell this?

There was one a few weeks ago for 6 million pounds of steel/iron railroad axles. Look at the requirements. You have to supply trailers, have to pick them up when they load them, and have someone destroy them to DOD specs and certified.

Yeah look at the price on that scope, as well as a lot of the stuff.

That's what I've been eyeing. Can usually find them for under 4 or 5k. There are tons of parts and lots of followers at steelsoldiers.com. They are street legal, and make the ultimate grocery getter :D

Unfortunately the tires are apparently difficult to mess with, as it requires a special cage with OEM tires as from what I've read, they are more explosive than a grenade if they fail.

How did you hear about the auction?

Did you have to pay $40/yr for an auction service?

lol, been using Govt. Liquidation for years, among others.

They have some great categories you can search, "animals grown for human consumption", "animals not grown for human consumption", "nuclear warheads", tons of funny stuff.
