What is this?

Whenever I click a link through tapatalk, it tries to resolve through that site. I say tries, because it never, ever works. I'd really like to be able to click links again if at all possible.

A bit of research turns up the following: http://www.viglink.com/for/tapatalk

It would appear to be a monetization/referrer system for Tapatalk, which owners can use to get referral credit. The thing is that the forums already have a system for that (redirect.anandtech.com), so I'm not sure why a separate system for Tapatalk is installed.

In any case, I'm not seeing any issues on my iPhone with Tapatalk; it's resolving to 64.94.115.13. What are you running exactly, and are there any other special circumstances?
 
Looks like the ROM I was running may have been blocking it. I didn't have ad free installed, but more and more ROMs have that built in.
